Unravelling trauma

Often in my clinics it’s clear that deep-seated trauma is at the core of many of my client’s issues.

Much disease can be tracked back to a trauma somewhere. It’s not always obvious, but it’s very likely to be there.

However it presents, trauma unseats us. It throws an obstacle in our path. Sometimes a branch on the track. Sometimes a bomb goes off in our lives.

Whatever its form, what all trauma has in common is that when left unresolved it leads to a disruption of health. Physical, mental, emotional, or all of the above.

Resolving trauma is no simple task though.

As was recently said to me, you can’t take the egg out of the cake.

It takes time, gentleness, and the resolve to go through the hard stuff. In the belief that brighter days are to come. No matter how slow the pace needs to be.

As Francis Weller says, in the beautiful The Wild Edge of Sorrow, processing grief can at times feel like burrowing through solid rock.

The soul moves slowly.

Homeopathy has the power to ease this process. It can’t erase trauma, of course. But it seems to be able to help us in this process of synthesising it, living with it, and accepting it.

As this path evolves, the remedies that are needed do too.

My experience is that the gentle nature of homeopathy can be a worthy companion on this long, difficult and at times lonely journey.

If you think homeopathy could help you along your path, do get in touch.
