We live in a world of choice.
I’m sitting in a coffee shop right now writing this blog.
I had the choice this morning to venture out of my ‘office’ at home, and get some inspiration by working somewhere else for a few hours.
We have the choice of what we feed ourselves and our children, what products we buy, and how we manage our health and that of our families.
The latter isn’t always seen as a choice. But it is.
Conventional medicine is extraordinary.
Personally I don’t know where my family would be without it. Specifically in the last few years for fertility treatment, maternity care and the emergency services.
In fact, I do know where we’d be. We would be a much smaller family.
That doesn’t mean conventional medicine is the answer to all of our healthcare needs though.
Homeopathy has so much to give in our lives.
We use it day-to-day with our toddler, our dog, and ourselves, prescribing acute remedies when needed. We all also have a homeopath that we use for more long-term health issues. (See my blog here for why a homeopath sees a homeopath.)
As a family we also use osteopathy, psychodynamic counselling, bio resonance, thought pattern management, yoga, meditation, and others I am sure I can’t remember right now, to maintain health, and help us live and grow in healthy and joyful ways.
One medicine doesn’t fit all. All people or all situations.
And so we get to choose.
This is a gift.
I believe the world is full of beautiful possibilities.
When we open our eyes to them, when we learn and choose, we grow.
So there’s only one question really.
What do you choose?
